Remembering Simon Diffey

Simon Diffey, historic racer, classic car man and great friend of Bicester Heritage, has sadly died.

His _joie de vivre_ and infectious enthusiasm rubbed off on all who encountered him, whether in the Goodwood paddock or on the avenues around Bicester where one of his cars might have unassumingly been parked.

Nothing quite better sums up Simon than the video he helped film for Pendine featuring one of the Aston Martin DBR4 Grand Prix cars, displaying his sense of humour and prowess in a racing car.

Our thoughts go out to Simon’s wife, Sarah, his family and friends – of which there are so very many.
